Zoya Akhtar has done it again. She approaches fresh topics and presents them in a quirky and youthful way. I loved Dil Dhadakne Do in a way that I haven’t loved any movie in the last few months. DDD is a movie that’s more like a mirror into our current society, and the way we keep up facades in front of each other.
Dil Dhadakne Do’s literal English meaning is “Let The Heart Beat”.
Indian movies have a LOT OF Sufi element in them. So it’s not much of a big surprise that there are a lot of Bollywood songs that come under the Sufi element.

Song of the day: Born This Way — Lady Gaga [Listen Here]
Sitting back and wondering what to do on a lazy Saturday afternoon, I decided to watch some dramas and movies (Asian, of course!). It was then that I again came across some good old Cross-Dressing and Mistaken sexuality dramas and movies, which I still rate as my favourites for the comic relief which they provide.
In my eyes, for a Cross-Dressing drama to be flawless and a super-hit, it has to sort out two issues properly like an adult:
Hmm, now that I sit back and think about it, there are Indian movies in the Coming-of-age genre. In fact, many of our current top actors and actresses have begun their careers (or at least, shot to fame) after acting in movies related to this genre.
